The Confederation of African Football (CAF)<\/strong> has announced the shortlist for the 2025 Goal of the Year Award<\/strong>, as part of the annual CAF Awards Gala<\/strong>, which celebrates the players, coaches, and teams who have distinguished themselves across African football.<\/p>\r\n

Curated by the CAF Technical Panel, the shortlist features 13 goals<\/strong> scored in CAF competitions between 6 January and 15 October 2025<\/strong>, selected for their technical excellence, creativity, and decisive impact in key moments.<\/p>\r\n

In a special feature of this category, fan votes will determine 100% of the final result<\/strong>, making it the only CAF Award entirely decided by public participation.<\/p>\r\n

Voting opens on Thursday, 6 November<\/strong>, and closes on Wednesday, 12 November 2025<\/strong>, via www.cafonline.com<\/a>, the dedicated platform www.cafawardsgoty.com<\/a>, and CAF\u2019s official social media channels.<\/p>\r\n

The winner will be revealed at the CAF Awards Gala<\/strong>, where CAF will honour the best performers in African football for their outstanding achievements.<\/p>\r\n
