The closing ceremony of the 22nd International Textile Exhibition (M.E.M), held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, was far more than an economic event. It resonated as a return to a living memory, carried through the skilled hands of Moroccan textile makers who have shaped identity through fabric for centuries.

For three days, the Casablanca Exhibition Center welcomed over 200 exhibitors from Morocco and abroad, along with institutional delegations from more than 22 countries. A vibrant meeting point where materials, colors and know-how circulated freely. Casablanca once again affirmed itself as a global crossroads connecting Europe, Africa and Asia, and as a cultural bridge between heritage and innovation.
The theme of this edition, « Morocco, the smart platform for global textile, » expressed a clear ambition. Morocco is no longer only a producer, but a designer, a creative actor, and a source of new textile narratives. Here, fabric is not only a product. It is meaning. It is memory. It is identity in motion.

Professional meetings, workshops and exchanges highlighted the full textile value chain. From creative design to responsible production, including sustainability and respect for communities and environment, the sector is shaping its future while honoring its origins.
Beyond contracts and business opportunities, the exhibition reminded us that textiles in Morocco form a language.
A language of heritage, of hands, of shared memory and stories passed from one generation to another.
Casablanca hosted that language in full presence.
